Jon Larson

Since joining the firm in 1998, Jon Larson has represented individuals and businesses in a variety of civil litigation matters, with particular emphasis on representing design professionals and matters related to the construction industry. He has represented clients throughout the Northwest in federal and state courts and in private arbitrations. His practice includes working on complex litigation matters, involving multi-million dollar claims, to less complex cases involving breaches of contract, and claims for professional negligence. Before joining Marvin, Chorzempa, and Larson in 1998, Mr. Larson practiced as a civil litigator in Phoenix, Arizona for seven years.
Mr. Larson is also involved in the community. He has worked with the Sellwood-Moreland Improvement League and the Tacoma Main Street Project to assist with improving the community in and around Sellwood, Portland. He is frequently called upon to share his expertise with attorneys and other professionals, and has presented continuing education seminars on many areas of law pertaining to the design and construction industry. He is a member of the Legislative Committee of the American Council of Engineering Companies (Oregon).
